BA/FG FALCON IGNITION COILS AND EGAS

The variety of E-gas and BA/FG Falcon Ignition coils set ups is always puzzling especially now with the implementation of direct auto gas injection.
Propane advocates say direct injection technology presents a major opportunity for their industry to expand propane’s use as a motor fuel in the years to come.

With the advent of Fords Dedicated Gas Falcons we see an acceptance of the technology and what I think will follow is an expansion of the Autogas Industry. However not withstanding the benefits, the question arises, what about the disadvantages, primarily those of power and efficiency. From where i sit it has long been a problem.

The variables are immense and the problems seem to persist. As the Autogas system ages, it seems no matter how many times you try to tune the engine there is always another niggling problem. I sympathise with all those gass tuners out there who see this daily.

So what do you do with your BA/FG Falcon that has E-gas problems? The first thing I would do would be to fit a set of dedicated E-Gas plugs from your favourite supplier, be it NGK, Bosch or Ford. There are few now who supply these plugs so go for your choice and you will find it will help immensely with the running of your Falcon. Doing this will at lease give your tuner a leg up when he is trying to make the old girl purr again.
